About the opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Operations Team Leader to join our team! In this vital role, you’ll help keep our organisation running efficiently by providing high-quality business operations, facilities, and fleet administration support.
As part of the Performance, Planning and Operations team, you’ll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our sites, vehicles, and operational systems. You’ll coordinate fleet operations, support facilities management across multiple locations, and assist with purchasing, asset management, and operational logistics. You’ll also contribute to data capture and reporting that supports planning and ensures our workplaces remain safe, functional, and efficient.

About you - Key Selection Criteria:

  • Qualification or relevant experience in a similar role relating to Fleet or Facilities management, Project Management, Procurement, and/or Administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support and supervise a team to deliver high-quality administrative and operational outcomes
  • Demonstrated commitment to a learning culture and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships / partnerships with other agencies and key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team on own initiative, demonstrating resourcefulness and managing competing priorities.
  • A collaborative and positive working style and an ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Excellent time management skills, including capacity to prioritise workload.
  • Familiarity with a range of financial and other relevant software.
  • Previous employment in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience in data entry and reporting.
  • Personal values consistent with the values of the organisation.
  • Occasionally travel between two offices if required.
  • A current driver’s license or equivalent.
  • A valid Working with Children Check or equivalent.
